FAQ
Questions.
Does it show followers or subscribers?
Live viewers right now. That is the number it reads from Twitch's streams API every minute, and the one streamers glance at during a stream.
Do I have to log in with my Twitch account?
No. You register a free app on Twitch's developer console and paste its client ID and secret. It never asks for your Twitch password, and it can show any public channel.
Can it count someone else's channel?
Yes. Viewer counts are public, so any channel name works, as long as you type it as it appears in the twitch.tv link.
Does it need my Twitch password?
No. It reads the count with the free key you make, never your password. The key stays on the device.
