FAQ
Questions.
Does it count monthly listeners?
No. Spotify's API gives followers and a popularity score, not monthly listeners, so those are the two numbers on the screen.
Where do I find the artist ID?
Open the artist in Spotify, choose Share, Copy link, and take the code after /artist/ (before any ?). It is 22 letters and numbers.
Does it work for podcasts or playlists?
No, artists only. The device reads the artist endpoint.
Does it need my Spotify password?
No. It reads the count with the free key you make, never your password. The key stays on the device.
