- Total orders in your store, of any status, from the Shopify Admin API.

- Products in the store.

- The green pill: orders gained since the day's first reading, in your time zone.
- NEXT MILESTONE
- A bar to the next round number (1, 2 or 5 followed by zeros), with how far along you are.
- Circle and dot
- The circle empties until the next check. The dot is green while the number is live, amber while it shows the last reading, red when something needs a look.

What you need
Set up in a few minutes.
It needs your store address and a free Admin API access token you make once. Your store address and key stay on the device. No account with us, no app.

- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings, Apps and sales channels, Develop apps.
- Choose Create an app, name it "Social Meter", then Configure Admin API scopes.
- Turn on read_orders, read_products and read_customers, and save.
- Choose Install app, then reveal and copy the Admin API access token (it starts with
shpat_).
- Plug it in and join its Wi-FiPower it with any USB-C cable. Scan the code on its screen (or join the Social Meter-XXXXXX network) and the setup page opens. If it does not, visit
192.168.4.1. - Choose Shopify and fill in one pagePick Shopify from the list and type your store address, then paste your key into the API-key box.
- Pick your home Wi-Fi and saveChoose your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, type its password and tap Save. It restarts and shows your number within about 30 seconds.

Questions.
Can it change anything in my store?
No. The token only needs read access to orders, products and customers, and the device only reads counts.
Does it show sales in dollars?
No. It counts orders, with products and customers below. No money figures.
Where does the token go?
It stays on the device and is sent only to your own store's address. No account with us, nothing in between.
Does it need my Shopify password?
No. It reads the count with the free key you make, never your password. The key stays on the device.
