FAQ
Questions.
Does it work with any Mastodon server?
Yes. It asks your own server, the part after the @, so any public instance works. Type the full handle, like [email protected].
Why does my count differ from what someone sees on another server?
Other servers only know the followers they have seen. The device asks your home server, which has the full number.
Do I need a key?
No. Mastodon profiles are public. It needs only your handle.
Does it need my Mastodon password?
No. Mastodon followers are public, so it needs only the full handle.
